Join fellow Friends of Manchester Trees members for a social hour on the terrace and lawns of this magnificent, historic seaside home, with views stretching from the Gloucester shore, to Baker's Island and Salem Sound, and finally to Manchester Harbor. Then learn about “Urban Forestry for a Changing Climate," presented by Samantha Richardson from the esteemed Mt. Auburn Cemetery and arboretum. Mt. Auburn Cemetery was founded by the Mass Horticultural Society in 1831 as a place for commemoration and inspiration, in a setting of exceptional beauty. It is now considered a model of environmental stewardship. Samantha, an experienced horticulturist and environmental resource manager, will discuss the creation of , and how citizen scientists can participate.
